"The world drowned in trees. You sail the canopy on a chainsaw-ship."
The most unusual setting in the industry. Civilization perished under the Green Tide — trees grew for miles, covering everything. The 'ocean' is the treetop canopy. Ships cut through branches with saws. You are the crew of one such ship, exploring the Wildsea. The system uses narrative tags instead of numerical bonuses.
The Wildsea — endless canopies full of wonders. Cities on branches, bazaars in hollows, ruins of the old world beneath the roots. Peoples: fungus-folk, spider-folk, living cacti, robots built from salvage. Visually — Miyazaki meets Moebius.
Saw-ship
Your ship cuts through the canopy with saws. Its modifications, crew, and route are the game's focus.
Narrative tags
Instead of numerical bonuses — descriptive tags. 'Burning Sword', 'Root Scar' — each affects mechanics.
Wild peoples
Fungus-folk, spider-folk, living cacti. Not a single elf. Not a single dwarf. Finally.
Living world
The forest grows, mutates, reacts. A route traveled a month ago may be blocked by new branches.
