What is this system

An RPG about special agents working for a secret agency that contains anomalous phenomena. Every mission is a field response to an anomaly: study it, classify it, decide what to do. The anomaly generator creates unique threats. Agency bureaucracy is an equally dangerous enemy.

Setting

The modern world, but behind the facade of reality — anomalies. The Triangle Agency is a secret organization that contains them. Three doctrines: Contain, Destroy, or Exploit. Every mission is a moral choice, and the Agency remembers your decisions.

What it looks like at the table
Anomaly: a door in an apartment building's basement. It opens into a room that doesn't exist on the building plans. Inside — a chair and a note: 'Sit down.' Investigation roll — 3d4, two threes. Success: the note is in your director's handwriting. Doctrine? Contain — brick up the door. Exploit — sit in the chair. Destroy — burn the building. Report due by morning.

Key mechanics

Anomaly generator

A procedural system creates unique anomalies for every mission. Infinite replayability.

Three doctrines

Contain, Destroy, Exploit. Every decision shapes the team's reputation within the Agency.

Bureaucracy

Reports, clearances, internal politics. The Agency isn't an ally — it's a tool that can turn against you.

Light mechanics

d4 dice pool, simple rules. Focus is on investigation and decision-making, not tactics.

What people say
Triangle Agency scratches that SCP itch perfectly. The anomaly generator is brilliant — we've played 10 sessions and every mission felt completely different.— u/containment_breach, r/rpg
The bureaucracy mechanics are hilarious and terrifying. Our best session was a debrief where we had to explain to management why we let an anomaly go. It felt like The Office meets X-Files.— u/classified_agent, r/rpg
