What is this system

Modern Lovecraftian horror. You are federal agents (FBI, CIA, NSA, CDC) secretly fighting cosmic horror. By day — bureaucracy. By night — impossible operations. Every mission destroys your personal life: family, friends, sanity. The mechanics track how the job devours everything.

Setting

Modern-day USA (or the world). Behind the facade of everyday reality — alien gods, cults, government conspiracies. Delta Green is an illegal cell within the intelligence agencies. You get a text from an unknown number: 'Night op. Report to this address...' And your life will never be the same.

What it looks like at the table
You're an FBI agent. At the crime scene — symbols that don't match any database. Occultism roll: d100, need under 40. Rolled 38 — success. You recognize the sign. And lose 1d6 Sanity. At home, your wife asks why you missed dinner. Bonds roll — failure. Bond 'Family' drops from 12 to 10. The phone buzzes: new operation.

Key mechanics

Bonds and losses

Every agent has family, friends, hobbies. Every mission destroys them. Mechanics track the deterioration.

Sanity

Modified insanity mechanic. Broken sanity changes the character irreversibly. There is no 'cure.'

Operation structure

Investigation, planning, operation, aftermath. Every scenario is a masterpiece of paranoia.

Federal agents

You're not adventurers — you're professionals with badges. This changes the entire dynamic of investigations.

What people say
Delta Green's "bonds" system is the most devastating mechanic in any RPG. Watching your agent slowly lose his family because of the missions is heartbreaking. After 6 sessions my character had no bonds left. That hit harder than any monster.— u/case_officer, r/DeltaGreenRPG
The published operations are insane quality. "Night at the Opera" alone has enough content for a year of play. Every scenario feels like a mini horror movie.— u/green_box, r/rpg
